My Perfect Jeans

My quest for the perfect pair of jeans is over.

In September of 2003 while visiting Cindy in Montana, we stumbled across a store that happened to have a lot of pretty long jeans. I just figured they "grew 'em" bigger in Montana.

Anyways, my very favorite pair was a pair of thin denim, drawstring Lucky jeans. They were perfect +/- 5 lbs and I was back in them roughly 3 weeks after Hailey was born. Shortly thereafter the left knee ripped, then the right knee and soon they had gaping wounds. I wore them that way for about a year... they were put to rest about 6 months ago.

That is when my search began. I couldn't find them at Nordstrom or a retail Lucky store. So last week I emailed Lucky and was told that this style (the "Wonder") was made exclusively for a store called Buckle. That sparked my memory and sure enough, it was a "Buckle" store in the Kalispell Mall that sold me these jeans.

To make a long story short, I visited the Buckle store at Irvine Spectrum yesterday and am the proud owner of 2 new pairs of jeans... both are a XX-Long!

I've never hemmed a pair of jeans before and I just might have to!
